Since more the 15 years I´m working in the field material handling for logistics applications. In the last 5 years I was focusing on solutions for storage and retrieval systems for SEW Eurodrive. Within that time I made experiences and pushed these in our digital stacker crane solution.

In Logistics, challenges such as sustainability, CO2 reduction, energy saving and the shortage of skilled workers are becoming more important. We demonstrate you ways to reduce the CO2 footprint using innovative technology for ASRS while cutting down the Total Cost of Ownership. Therefore we compare technical options and we share with you how the magic works. As a concrete example we introduce challenges in the deep freezing environment and the solution using our energy storage buffer system. Finally, we look in the future of OEE improvement by smart software features and predictive maintenance.
