Improving resource efficiency is an important part of creating more sustainable manufacturing. But before deciding what to improve, manufacturers need to understand where they stand today. How can resource efficiency be assessed in practice - and how can the results be turned into meaningful improvement actions?

In this session, Qi Fang from Chalmers University of Technology presents a structured procedure for assessing resource efficiency in manufacturing. She will also introduce two complementary approaches for selecting assessment methods, helping companies identify an approach that fits their specific manufacturing context and needs.
